Dispatch

Ready-to-ship orders usually leave in 24 to 48 hours.

Most in-stock sarees and kurtis are packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 working days after payment confirmation. If an item needs fresh sourcing, stock confirmation, or festive rush handling, dispatch may take up to 3 to 5 working days.

Delivery

Most India orders arrive in 3 to 7 working days.

After dispatch, metro and major city deliveries usually arrive in 3 to 5 working days. Non-metro, rural, and remote pin codes may take 5 to 7 working days, and courier delays during heavy sale periods or public holidays can extend this slightly.

Shipping fee

Flat delivery charge shown clearly at checkout.

Kandhas currently charges a flat shipping fee of ₹79 per order. A convenience fee of ₹29 is also shown at checkout before payment, so there are no surprise charges after the order is placed.

COD Cash on Delivery is not available right now.

Orders are currently confirmed only through prepaid payment using secure Razorpay checkout. This helps Kandhas dispatch faster and reduce failed delivery attempts.

Returns Exchange and issue reporting window is 3 days from delivery.

If you receive a damaged item, the wrong product, or a genuine quality issue, contact Kandhas within 3 days of delivery with order details and clear photos so support can review the request quickly.

Returns & exchanges

What is eligible for support

  • Unused products with original tags and packaging can be reviewed for exchange support.
  • Damage, wrong-item, or major quality issues should be reported within 3 days of delivery.
  • Products that show signs of wear, washing, perfume, alteration, or missing tags are not eligible.
  • Customised, altered, blouse-stitched, or clearance items are generally not eligible unless the delivered item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds

When refunds may be processed

  • If Kandhas cannot service the order after payment, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
  • Approved refunds are usually processed within 5 to 7 business days after confirmation.
  • Shipping and convenience fees are non-refundable once an order has been successfully dispatched, except in cases of wrong-item or damaged delivery approved by support.
